Get ready, Minnesota! Grandpa Joe’s Candy Shop is officially expanding into the state with the exciting acquisition of three beloved Blue Sun Soda Shop locations. This move is our initial venture into the Land of 10,000 Lakes and further solidifies our commitment to providing unforgettable experiences nationwide.
A New Chapter for Beloved Locations
The three new stores are located in Spring Lake Park, Bloomington, and Stillwater. Blue Sun Soda Shop, founded in 2015 by Mark Lazarchic, has been a favorite fixture in the Minnesota community, known for its craft sodas and nostalgic treats.
This expansion adds to our existing 15 locations across Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, and West Virginia , bringing our World Famous $5 Candy Buffet and massive selection of unique sodas to a new region.
Building the World’s Largest Soda Shop
The most exciting news? The massive 12,000-square-foot Spring Lake Park location has already begun its transformation. This flagship store will be home to the World’s Largest Soda Shop!
This incredible location will feature two glass bottle soda manufacturing lines , allowing us to expand our unique soda flavors—like Pickle Cotton Candy and Ketchup Soda —and enhance our national distribution catalog.
